Exceptional Award

To celebrate 25 years of patient support we announced the start of an annual award for Exceptional Services to TTP Patients.  Each May we will announce a winner, selected from nominations made by patients and their families. The nominate person can be a patient, family member or healthcare professional.

For the inaugural award for Professor Marie Scully chosen as the worthy recipient.  At our 25^th Anniversary Patient Event we surprised Prof. Scully with a beautiful Jade blooddrop trophy engraved with her name.

Professor Scully said of the award: ‘I was surprised and honoured to receive the award at the 25^th anniversary of the TTPNetwork. An award from patients was very humbling and I was so grateful. It is accepted on behalf of all the clinicians and medical staff whose focus has been and will continue to improve outcomes and wellbeing in patients with TTP.’
